MIA

I've been MIA for a bit and I apologize. I've had some major events happen recently and I need some time off to heal and clear my head. I'm sharing some of my recent photos from the past two weeks. I hope you'll enjoy them!

After accepting the fact that my Valentine's Day would be spent doing laundry I got a text asking if I wanted to go out to In-n-out. Animal style burgers and fries? Who could resist!! It was the yummiest decision of the night! Oh - and in-n-out on V-Day was pretty awesome too :)

happiness

You know what makes me happy? When weekends are as perfect as they were this weekend. This past weekend was spent apartment hunting and getting to spend time with my favorite people. I also spent a good portion of the weekend eating. I tried Outlaws and Siam for my first time. Outlaws had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I finally understand my friend's addictions to Siam! It's really good! This morning I had an omelet from Ronnie's. Even though it wasn't that satisfying (taste bud wise) it satisfied my craving for an omelet. Steaks and veggies were on the menu for dinner tonight. The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and trying to stay off my feet. Also, If you haven't played banagrams - you need to! Best.Game.Ever!!

a royal affair

I had every intention of having a "boring" birthday this year. A few amazing people in my life had other plans. What kind of party do you throw for someone who is pregnant twins? A Marie Antoinette game night.. duh! My friend Roxy was the party planner. Her attention to detail made this party a complete success! She decided on a "Marie Antoinette" theme w/games. There were blankets thrown over the couches and floor. Pillows were everywhere to make for comfy seating. Funky paper covered the tables. There were fun colored cups with several options to "dress" your drink up. There was fondue, sweet snacks, my own royal cocktail (no big deal! - Yes, it was virgin). Roxy even made me a homemade ice cream cake! Yes, you read that correctly - homemade ice cream cake. It was the best birthday party I have ever had!! Thank you Brian, James & Roxy! You guys are amazing! I am soo touched!

What did I do for the rest of the weekend & my actual birthday? Sunday was spent grubbing on snacks while watching the super bowl. The best part of the day? Napping on and off! All I wanted to do on my birthday was eat a delicious burger. I was taken to the Counter to create my own burger - mission accomplished! We stuffed ourselves silly and retreated home to watch "The Bachelor". 27 is looking good after all!!!

life is a beach, i'm just playin in the sand

I wasn't aware that "i need a box" was code for be my tape b*tch & help me prime my project. I better get some credit for that primer job! I'm kidding! Later today this cardboard house will be painted to look like the house in the movie Up. Creative huh?

I just had to share that bit of randomness! Do you like that fleece I'm wearing? Ebay - $4 bucks! I'm adding it to my "cabin wear" collection. We can blame one of my friends for inspiring this! Yes, I was listening to Lil Wayne as I wrote this post... Don't judge me!
