My good friend Roxy threw a beautiful Oscar party this year! How was this Oscar party a success? Roxy's amazing attention to details! Included in her invites were ballots which you had to fill out before the party. She also made Oscar bingo cards. There was also Oscar trivia! If you had the most correct votes on the ballot and won bingo and the trivia you got a little trophy. This made watching the Oscars a lot more fun! What else? Roxy wanted to do a concession stand. So she bought popcorn, popcorn boxes, candy, vintage sodas, funky straws, etc. These elements helped bring her concession stand to life! She decided to use her dining room table to house the appetizers and food. Instead of just laying out laying out the food she used old picture boxes, photo albums, etc. to add depth to the table. The table was also dressed up with movie inspired books, candles and flowers. There was a separate area set up to get your plates, napkins, forks, etc. There was also a separate drink area for the official Oscar punch! I wish I took photos of what it looked it like with everything out but I didn't.
