The royal wedding

Did you watch it? I took a nap and set three alarms on my phone so I wouldn't miss it! I'm so glad I didn't miss it because history was made today! Kate reminded me of a modern day Grace Kelly. The dress, her hair, the flowers, the veil... everything was just flawless! She made a beautiful bride! Pippa was a beautiful maid of honor - loved the dress! Prince William and Prince Harry looked awfully handsome in their uniforms. One of the things I was also really looking forward to was seeing the hats people chose to wear. I wasn't disappointed! Some of them were so lovely! Some were definitely interesting and probably could have been used as a weapon. The wedding itself was an amazing affair and there wasn't a part of it that was disappointing. Who cares about sleep when you just witnessed something so beautiful? Best wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

Royal Wedding Fever

Are you suffering from Royal Wedding Fever? I am! The royal wedding is a perfect opportunity to host a Royal Wedding Party! Dress up and get your friends together! Think classy cupcakes, tiaras, fake sapphire rings, top hats, champagne (or sparkling cider), etc. The only downside to this royal wedding fever is that the wedding will be going on at 3am PST.. no bueno!

a few things..

I've been down and out with food poisoning since Easter. Above are a few things that have been keeping me company through all of it. 1: New obsession - Friday Night Lights 2: Toast (thank god for toast!) 3: Harry Potter (so sad.. the end is almost here ::insert sad face::).

When I hear the word "Easter" I automatically think of cute bunnies and beautiful baskets. I'm sure some of my religious family members will read this and shake their heads at me.
